I have inherited 2 tea sets one is a Windsor bone china white and gold set stamped on every piece with 2174/1 its a full set including cake plate.
the other is stamped Japan Wakaba China with a green clover leaf type stamp, again a full set.
Both sets include milk jug sugar bowl tea pot 6 cups and saucers with spoons in the sugar bowls
Any info gratefully received

Samantha, did you want to know if they were valuable or what? The Windsor Bone China is an expensive tea service, from my knowledge but I am no expert.

The set consists of 6 of each of the following dinner plates,side plates, bowls and plates, cups and saucers, also there is a teapot, suger bowl, milk jug, gravy boat and plate, and meat platter. Description; white china/porcelain with gold rim around edge then their is a fluted area around the items then another gold rim. I bought this lit in an auction and would appreciate any information.

trying to find out it’s age and possible value. There are 12 cups,saucers,side plates plus 2 large plates & jug with sugar bowl.
Take it to your local auction house who will give you a valuation.

Don’t know about Norwich, but there used to be (MANY years ago!) a china and kitchenware shop by the name of Hardyments in Kilburn High Road, London NW6 – so it could just be that there’s a connection there with the china ! ! !
