I have a tea set with 6 cups and saucers, cream jug, sugare basin and teapot. I’m trying to find the design name.
The cups are small and round with a gold handle and foot. White with a gold rim, under that a blue band going around the cup and under that another gold band that breaks and points downwards on both sides, both front and back to reveal a blue flower with 3 gold drips in two different lengths.
I’ve tried various website and searches but to no avail.
They are so Art Deco and delicate.
You could try taking them to a reputable auction house and asking if they know or how to find out. I am sure they will soon research it for you or put you on to someone who will. That’s what I do with things I can’t identify. Best wishes, Mike.

2009 Dec 15 4Check out Clarice Cliff he was famous for his art deco pieces (1899-1972), if it is shocking art deco then it should be him – But beware! His pieces are widely faked and copied one indication is that cliffs pieces are crisply painted and crisply potted, not messy or amateurish. Ive never heard of paragon and its not in my books, from your description sounds like a meissen copy, what you have described is called creamware and pearlware though. 18th century but without taking a look or taking it to a expert it is very hard to tell you anything in case it turns out to be something completely different.
