Well, of course I'm biased to Jann Klose, who is a favorite in the Songwriters Scene in Philadelphia. He tours around the world. If you like Jack Johnson or Vampire Weekend, you'll definitely appreciate his music. (He's also playing the Sellersville Theater on September 20 with Annie Haslam, another local favorite who is the lead singer of Renaissance. That will be an amazing show.)

A lot of the performers at the fest are classics--1910 Fruitgum Company, Janis Ian, Webb Wilder and Tempest are acts every music fan should be aware of.... I hear that Lizanne Knott is also playing at Musikfest, and she's a lovely singer, too. If you see her on the bill, go hear her, as well.
References :
http://www.anniehaslam.com/ah_news.html
