You can put a reserve amount on the bidding and if you don't get a high enough bid, then you just try again another time. That way you know you'll get a certain amount for them. You may also think about having them appraised so you know what they are truly worth. If they are worth a good bit then you could pursue auctioning them off at an antiques auction.
